Self-esteem is at the core of the quality of our lives. Our self assurance and confidence comes when we hold ourselves in high regard or with esteem. At these times we feel open, confident, genuine and free. Able to accept compliments and make the choices needed to bring the desires of our heart into existence.
Then there are other times when we are self-critical, judging ourselves and others. When this occurs we often do not know how to turn this way of being around. We wait for life circumstances or the behaviour of others to change before we feel differently. We may see the effects of low self-esteem in the lives of others but do not know how to assist them effectively.
In this course you will address the issue of self-esteem and look at how you have come to regard yourself over time.
You will learn... - processes to assist you to notice when your esteem has dropped and how you are behaving when this occurs. - skills that will assist you to restore the view that you have of yourself - accurately and truthfully. - how to truly appreciate yourself - and how you can use these learnings to awaken positive self-esteem in others.
We will be working experientailly, learning and practising the processes to bring you into a truly honoring relationship with yourself.
You will receive course notes and audio materials which summarise each session and allow you to practise the tools and techniques well after the course is over.
